With GOTAFE by your side, YOU'VE GOT THIS. Job details We have a fantastic opportunity to join GOTAFE as the Manager IT Operations. In this leadership role, you will oversee the development and management of IT infrastructure and services at GOTAFE, ensuring alignment with long-term business continuity and growth plans. As the head of the IT Support and Infrastructure teams, you will be accountable for proactively identifying and implementing technological advancements, building team capabilities, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise will be crucial in driving operational efficiency and ensuring the security and reliability of IT services.
As the successful candidate you will have: A Bachelor's degree and postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Proven experience in a leadership role managing IT operations, including IT Support/Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, as well as external service providers. Significant knowledge and experience in Microsoft technologies, including AD/AAD/Entra, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, SQL Server, SCCM, and Intune. A solid understanding of cyber security principles and best practices, with the ability to implement and oversee security measures. Experience implementing contemporary IT operational strategies, including ITSM, ITIL, Agile, and DevOps, ensuring efficient service delivery. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and positive relationships. A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date) A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application) A current Driver's Licence (Car).
