Manager (International Medical Graduate Pathway Program)As the leader of the International Medical Graduate - Pathway Program, the Program Manager is responsible for planning, management and implementation of the Observership, International Medical Graduate and Workplace Based Assessment programs.
An opportunity has become available for a Manager (International Medical Graduate Pathway Program) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Administer and manage all aspects of the program to meet the nationally recognised standards and ensure accreditation guidelines are met.Advise the Clinical Lead of the management, implementation, evaluation and improvement in the Workplace Based Assessment program.Support the education and training needs of the International Medical Graduates (IMGs).Manage strategic planning activities and policy development.Provide high level advice on matters relating to the long term successful operation of the program.About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).About Us The Medical Education includes the Workplace Based Assessment team, which is responsible for the delivery of the Australian Medical Council, Workplace Based Assessment Program at Gold Coast Health.
