The Manager Industry Development will oversee industry development and engagement activity for the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program as well as take a lead in the implementation of Solar Victoria's Industry Development Strategy. The role will encourage industry participation, compliance, growth and innovation and facilitate delivery of capability building initiatives that respond to evolving technical developments and standards relevant to the VEU and Solar Homes Programs.
This is a fast-paced role and provides an opportunity to work across the energy efficiency sector with project teams in order to maximise the reach of Australia's largest energy efficiency scheme, support clean energy programs and contribute to Victoria's energy transition through demand reduction, electrification and renewable energy.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsMandatory:Significant industry engagement experience with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence mutually beneficial outcomes.Experience in the development of high-level business strategies that promote industry development, innovation and investment.Desirable:Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as business/economics or renewable energy.Qualifications or extensive experience in industry/stakeholder engagement and management.This is a fixed-term position available for 12 months. The work location for this position is Morwell or Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
