This will include project, budget, and contract management, recruitment and onboarding of staff and contractors and development, delivery and oversight of application and assessment processes.The role will require a strategic thinker with strong innovation and problem-solving skills to creatively address complex policy and project management issues to ensure the Victorian Redress is ready for commencement in December 2024. It will also involve leading sensitive work with key stakeholders including people who experienced abuse and neglect in historic institutional settings. As such, it will require the ability to build, communicate with, and maintain sensitive relationships with key stakeholders.A key component of this role is leading a team of staff and supporting their well-being with consideration to vicarious trauma given the nature of the work.Please note: this position requires dealing with sensitive material that can be emotionally challenging; this role will best suit a candidate who has current experience dealing with sensitive and distressing material and is both resilient and empathetic.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDEDevelop operations and practice initiatives to meet the strategic directions for managing and delivering high quality services.
