Position Overview:
The role is to manage the team and the client base to ensure that a best practice approach is taken to all business services work.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances and statements of financial position. Develop and maintain work papers and files, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyse financial statements and provide explanations for key matters. Update permanent tax files and identify both tax compliance and planning issues. Resolve tax issues, calculate taxable income, and reconcile with financial statements. Prepare and finalise tax returns, management accounts, and financial submissions. Identify efficiency gains and tax planning opportunities. Manage client relationships and oversee the team, including performance management, mentoring, and development. Review accounting files, income tax returns, budgets, and cash flows, highlighting key issues for discussion with the Director and clients. Requirements: CA or CPA qualified. Proficiency in accounting software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Energetic, ambitious, and able to think strategically.
