• Provide high level leadership and management in the delivery of Workplace Relations services including the overseeing of complex case management of disciplinary matters.
Lead and provide direction to the Human Resources (HR) team in the provision of contemporary, best practice human resource management in areas such as performance and conduct, positive performance management and HR advisory and consultancy services.
The Manager Human Resources provides operational leadership of West Moreton Health's Workplace Relations, HR Business Partnering and advisory services, and Rostering Support functions.
This role also provides specialist advice and recommendations to Executive and senior leadership on a wide range of contemporary operational HR activities to enable and maximise the workforce for the delivery of health services in a large, complex, and evolving healthcare environment.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Expert level knowledge of relevant workplace relations related legislation, standards, policy and procedures and the ability to apply such knowledge.Sophisticated level of interpretation of legislation, industrial instruments and Awards in a complex employment framework.Extensive experience in leading workplace relations, HR business partnering and rostering projects in a large complex environment and the ability to understand, risk manage and escalate resourcing issues and risks as necessary.Success in identifying and analysing service needs to plan and develop an efficient human resources service through the development of appropriate service delivery models, team capability, team capacity, and team culture.Ability to establish clear strategic and operational planning frameworks and performance standards to manage service demands and measure delivery of performance outcomes which contribute to high-quality service delivery.Excellent consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills appropriate to a large and diverse organisation.
Including exceptional written communication skills necessary to produce high level submissions, technical briefs and reports.Success in leading and developing a diverse team to engage multiple internal and external relationships, including the ability to deal with the competing needs of various government, non-government, and community stakeholders.Strategic knowledge of and commitment to industry best practice and relevant legislation, including knowledge of contemporary approaches to workforce relations, HR business partnering and rostering concepts, practices, and procedures.About West Moreton Health West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
