The Role: The Manager of Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) holds operational accountability for MBPH's HOPE initiative.
HOPE provides enhanced support and assertive outreach for people who have attempted suicide or who have been identified as at-risk of suicide.
HOPE works primarily with adults who are leaving MBPH Emergency Department or medical wards, and those who are supported by the Short-Term Assessment and Response Team (START) within MBPH Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services (AMHWS).
The position is full time, rostered in business hours.
About You: The position requires a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or a Social Worker who holds registration with the relevant professional body.
The successful candidate will have management experience within a relevant setting along with specialised knowledge and/or experience of service provision for consumers who have attempted suicide, or who have been identified as at-risk of suicide.
Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 incentive payment applies to eligible candidates.

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $15,000.
