See yourself in our team Within Financial Services, the Group Statutory & Regulatory Reporting (S&RR) team plays a vital role in the financial operations of the Group. The team is responsible for statutory, prudential and statistical reporting to APRA, RBA and ABS, Pillar 3 reporting, and other regulatory obligations. The team's areas of focus include:
Group Reporting - Statutory external financial reporting and consolidation of the Group's general ledgerAccounting Policy - Ensuring the Group has adequate accounting policies to support external reporting requirements and business unit support for complex transactionsRegulatory Reporting - Ensuring that the Group's financial and regulatory reports comply with the relevant regulations and standardsSome of the key areas you will be providing support include: Prepare, analyse and deliver the strategic agenda for S&RR to senior stakeholdersExecution and delivery of semi-annual statutory results for the Annual Report and Profit Announcements, including driving financial automation transformation projectsDeliver on outcomes, you will have extensive dealings across the broader S&RR team, Group Financial Controls team as well as each of the CBA Group Business Unit finance teamsKey duties will include: Focus on the continuous improvement agenda of the Group Reporting team maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and functionalitySupport and lead the automation agenda for the team, including transformation of statutory and regulatory reporting requirementsAdvisory role on reporting process improvements and support to related projectsAssist with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables, including the Annual Report, Profit Announcement and Pillar 3Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights to drive debate, and deliver value-add analysis of the Group's statutory results to senior stakeholdersWe're interested in hearing from people who value: Excellent commercial acumenExperience with Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI and SQL will be looked upon favourablyFamiliar working with large datasetsAdvanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysisStrong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysisExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExceptional attention to detailDemonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneouslyInnovative and able to drive resultsIf you would like to hear more about this role please Apply!
