Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will play a key role as a Manager in the Bank and Securitisation Risk team and part of the broader Financial Institutions Risk Group (FIG Risk) within IB&M Risk.

The Bank and Securitisation Risk Team is responsible for the Risk management of a diverse portfolio of Global and Domestic Banks, plus Diversified Financial companies and Securitisation vehicles.

The team works closely with internationally active segments within IB&M, ensuring authorised frameworks and systems are effectively used in the management of risk and credit decisions to achieve an optimum outcome for the Group and our customers.

In this role you will be working individually and across the team to manage the Risk on a portfolio of Bank counterparties. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, helping simplify processes to achieve better outcomes for our customers.
Day to day you can expect to Analyse, interpret, prepare, and review credit papers across a diverse global portfolio.Use internal and external data to monitor risks, assess the impact of counterparty specific and macroeconomic risks on our clients and recommend strategies to minimise risk.Support senior risk managers to ensure transaction or portfolio credit risks are identified, managed, measured, monitored, and reported.Work with front line colleagues to understand customer strategies and support growth opportunities.Help re-design processes and reporting to make our insights more accessible and impactful to a wider range of stakeholders.We're interested in hearing from people who have Experience analysing and writing about credit risk for a senior audience.Understanding of credit risk for lending, traded markets products and commodities.A proactive mindset to seek out problems and find solutions.Solid time management and prioritisation skills; and ability to work under guidance.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with experience using data and visualisations to drive insights.Proven ability in developing collaborative working relationships across internal functions.High levels of curiosity and a willingness to innovate to find solutions to challenges.If this sounds like the role for you then we would love to hear from you.
