Financial Advisory Services is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Manager to join the Darling Downs South West team at the Toowoomba, Kingaroy or Roma Regional Offices from 28th January 2025 to 23rd January 2026 unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
Lead and deliver a range of specified financial services that meet client needs and provide outcomes that contribute to improved student outcomes, complying with all relevant policy, procedures, legislation, and standards. Provide and ensure the provision of impartial and authoritative advice to departmental clients on budget and resource management, budget review processes, and financial aspects of other operational and administrative school and region responsibilities. Actively encourage and enable the building of organisational capabilities and professional expertise within the team and within schools and the region. About You
In addition to the above responsibilities, to ensure success in the role, the successful applicant would possess these attributes:
Effectively lead a team of 8 staff across multiple locations within the Darling Downs South West Region. Lead and encourage the team to provide expert financial advice to the schools' Leadership Team and Administrative staff, including periodic visits to schools (there are 202 schools in the Darling Downs South West Region). Encourage schools to utilise state-wide finance tools, training materials, and systems (e.g., school budget solution - planning module). Lead the team under a High Performance Teams framework, enabling and caring for the team. Ensure hygiene factors such as Professional Development Plans, ADO, TOIL, and mandatory training are effectively managed. Interested? To Apply:
