JOB DESCRIPTION Our Cybersecurity & Digital Trust team is helping to build a secure digital society to keep our economy and businesses protected from cyber security threats.

We're looking for a manager to join our team to help lead our incident readiness, response, and recovery services.
Use the know-how you've gained in responding to cyber security incidents to lead others to do the same, and capture and pass on the lessons from your experiences.
With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow.
We work with clients and teams across Australia and the region, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout.
You'll learn plenty as you supervise key engagements in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
What will you create?
Cybersecurity & digital trust helps Australian organisations by securing their digital future and developing the nation's leading cybersecurity workforce.
(Location flexible: Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Perth) As a Manager in our Defensive Security team your impact will be seen by: Leading a team of specialists to deliver our incident response, post-incident review, incident readiness, and threat hunting services.
Leveraging your technical skill set to deliver high quality outcomes to clients, through a combination of hands-on delivery, leading the development of presentations and reports, and providing regular technical leadership and coaching to more junior members of the team  Provide technical leadership to help nurture and develop the next generation of Australia's cyber practitioners.
Contributing to the development of our service offerings and internal tools within the incident response and threat hunting capability Proactively identifying strategic opportunities to create new, or optimise existing, Defensive Security services or capabilities (e.g.
development of new methodologies, identification of new technical service offerings).
Taking ownership and accountability to deliver, leveraging the broader team as required to ensure success.
About you You have a background in leading DFIR teams and articulating the nature and value of blue team capabilities and activities to stakeholders.
You have a strong grasp of technical/business style writing and have the ability to train and lead junior members including providing technical leadership.
You may hold key security related certifications such as GIAC GCIA / GCIH, or applicable vendor certifications with major cloud service providers or incident response product vendors.
Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Assurance team deliver practical advice that speaks straight to the heart of client business issues and deliver innovative results.
