As part of our growing Corporate Services team, you'll contribute to protecting our customers through effective technology and risk management practices.
The Role: We're seeking a Manager, Data Risk and Technology to oversee key elements of our risk technology framework.
You'll manage and enhance our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, while ensuring we stay ahead of emerging risks, including cyber and data security, automation, and artificial intelligence.
This is a leadership role, where you'll drive initiatives across the business, working with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
Position Accountabilities: Deliver and enhance the risk strategy for technology and data risk.
Oversee the implementation and ongoing improvements of the GRC system.
Develop training materials and facilitate sessions to educate the business on technology risks.
Provide oversight on cyber, technology, and data risks, ensuring they're managed effectively across the organization.
Identify opportunities for process improvements through AI and automation.
Support in developing risk appetite statements and key risk indicators.
Qualifications & Experience: 7+ years of experience in technology risk and GRC.
Strong leadership and engagement skills.
Expertise in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Experience in the general insurance industry (preferred).
Familiarity with risk management systems and AI-driven process improvements.
