We have an opportunity for an experienced Credit Risk Modelling professional to join our financial risk division, specifically a high-performing team with a great track record of growing team members to maximise their skill sets and potential!
This team develops and maintains non-regulatory risk models to determine risk weighted assets and loan provisions. You will perform activities as part of the model life cycle management such as model development, model monitoring and data delivery for independent model validation. The focus is on credit risk capital models and IFRS9 provisions for our retail and wholesale portfolios in Australia.
The work involves complex data analytics, good documentation skills and knowledge of Australian Prudential Standards in relation to credit risk modelling. It is a broad and interesting role – covering data analytics on a wider range of risk topics like stress test models, market risk and the interaction between credit and market risk under stressed conditions.
What you'll do: Collect data, perform analytics, and develop credit risk models. Design model methodologies, perform model maintenance and model implementation activities. Report to internal and external stakeholders on outcomes. Represent ING Australia in industry and global working groups. What we're looking for: Intermediate / Advanced SAS and SQL. Minimum 5-8 years' experience in a risk analytics role, actuarial analytics or equivalent within banking/insurance services. Knowledge of APS standards relating to credit risk modelling.
