Permanent - Full-time, Accounting & Finance The Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for leading the development and coordination of Stanwell's long-term financial strategy in relation to portfolio renewal.

About the role This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.
The Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for leading the development and coordination of Stanwell's long-term financial strategy in relation to portfolio renewal. The role will support facilitation of strategic major projects and transactions into Stanwell's portfolio. Delivery of such commercial structures and funding arrangements will require significant organisational change (over time) and this role is critical in the development of effective commercial and financial policy and integrating these within the business, developing new business and delivery models where required.
Key activities include: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term vision.Advocate Stanwell's financial strategy to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to Stanwell's whole of business strategy development and delivery.Deliver modelling and analysis to inform long-term financial strategy in relation to portfolio renewal.Evaluate potential strategic investments, partnerships, and growth opportunities for profitability, risk and strategic alignment.Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.About you Experience in commercial/finance related roles, ideally with significant exposure to power generation, utilities and/or mining industries, and/or commodity markets.Experience in the development and implementation of complex financial models.Experience collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.Experience in major transactions, business combinations, financial and capital markets and the ability to identify and assess commercial opportunities.Ability to lead and develop a high performing team to deliver commercial outcomes.Benefits: 12.75% employer contribution to superannuationAccess to Bright Spark – our rewards, recognition and discounts platformWeekly payContributions for IP/TPD insurance unitsFlexible work arrangementsCentrally located in Brisbane CBDIncentive schemeHealth and wellbeing initiatives (e.g. skin checks, flu vaccines)Access to learning and development on and off the jobExceptional safety culturePlus, a whole lot more!What's next?
