This is an opportunity for an experienced Production Manager with a passion for digital communication. Reporting to the Director, Media and Communication, you will be responsible for managing DRDMW's websites and overseeing the creation of communication materials to ensure they are innovative, fit for purpose, and accessible to all audiences. You'll oversee the production teams' day-to-day operations, including reviewing design briefs, managing workflow and job allocation, ensuring quality assurance including accessibility, and building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders promote and support the strategic direction of the department. We're looking for a positive team member with experience in digital communications and strong project management and negotiation skills.

The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Production Manager with a passion for digital communication. Reporting to the Director, Media and Communication, you will be responsible for managing DRDMW's websites and overseeing the creation of communication materials to ensure they are innovative, fit for purpose, and accessible to all audiences. You'll oversee the production teams' day-to-day operations, including reviewing design briefs, managing workflow and job allocation, ensuring quality assurance including accessibility, and building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders promote and support the strategic direction of the department. We're looking for a positive team member with experience in digital communications and strong project management and negotiation skills.
Key Accountabilities
• With a focus on digital experience and design, lead production teams to deliver high-quality communication products to support departmental objectives.
• Coordinate and assure the delivery of high-quality digital, visual and event communication products and activities which align with the relevant departmental and whole-of-government standards and policies.
• Demonstrate high-level project management skills, including the ability to successfully define priorities, coordinate activities and deliver results within specified timeframes with results produced to a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with the Queensland Government's digital services policy, departmental visual identity, sponsorship policy and other relevant standards.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to the team to deliver departmental outcomes and build team capability.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve systems and processes that support the delivery of communication products.
• Provide expert recommendations on the design and delivery of communications, digital, design and event projects, advice and services.
• Build a responsive and outcome-focused team who are responsive to client feedback and needs.
About you
• You may have tertiary qualifications in web management, creative services, event management and/or other communication production fields which would be highly regarded for this role.
• You will have a keen interest in production process development and implementation, experience in digital communications and strong project management, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Your Graphic design experience will be highly valued.
• Travel away from the work location may be required from time to time.
• You will be highly organised, efficient and detail orientated.
