ABOUT THE ROLE The role of Manager, Clinical Safety & Quality is to support management teams across the St Agnes' Care & Lifestyle business to ensure the organisation achieves compliance by having robust processes and systems that are compliant with relevant laws, regulations and requirements. In addition, this position is responsible for taking charge of the implementation and constant improvement of infection control policies and practices across the organisation.
The main responsibilities of the role are –
Lead and coordinate the development of policies and procedures, managing and evaluating policy systems, using evidence-based practice.Work with the services to identify key areas of relevant standards for auditing to identify gaps in practice and process.Provide leadership and guidance in external assessment and recertification audits and internal quality audits. Review, improve and support the clinical, quality, risk and compliance framework across St Agnes' Care & Lifestyle. Develop and implement infection control policies, procedures and guidelines.Provide leadership and direction to team members ensuring all information relevant to the work performed is communicated effectively.The position will be offered to the successful applicant as a Max Term - Full Time Role starting August 2024 for the duration of 6 months, working 76hrs a fortnight from Monday – Friday.  WHAT WE OFFER OUR EMPLOYEES  Attractive remuneration of up to $68.50 Per hour (This illustration is based on Full Time basis of 76hrs a fortnight utilising the salary packaging benefit, including shift and penalty allowances)Working for a reputable, longstanding, values-based organisationA commitment to providing a responsive and supportivework environment Salary Packaging options of up to $15,900 Tax Free, plus $2,650 Meals & Entertainment Card 17.5 % annual leave loading An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family.As a corporate partner of Westpac, employees will have access to special offers, discounts and financial information. You will have access to great employee perks including Fitness Passport & discounted Allied health services, I.E Remedial massage, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology ETCPaid professional learning and developmentSupport of a full time Nurse EducatorCareer advancement opportunities and study assistance for approved coursesWHO YOU ARE  Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and PrinciplesBachelor of Nursing or equivalent with current AHPRA registration (Required)Practical experience in a health or community services sector or a quality, risk, compliance and safety role (Required)Qualification in infection prevention and control (Highly desirable)Tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience in quality, risk and compliance within aged or disability care.
