Manager Assistant

This Management Assistant role will support EDP Leader(s) in managing the day-to-day requirements of their roles, including the coordination and management of all administrative functions such as email monitoring and prioritization, travel and accommodation, meeting schedules, and telephone messages.
This role is also involved with coordinating workshops, preparing and compiling reports and spreadsheets, developing PowerPoint presentations, and general administration. Additionally, providing assistance to the Leadership Team for administrative functions.
This role supports 3 Executive Managers and requires a great deal of adaptability and experience working effectively in diverse and flexible teams, and understanding how to contribute to team, business, and group priorities.
What you'll do: Diary Management. Arranging travel and accommodation. Arrangement of all regular and recurring meetings. Coordination of administrative set up for new starters. Monthly Corporate Visa Reconciliation. Ensure People Metrics data is kept correct and up to date. Reporting. Organisation of team functions/conferences as advised by Manager. Other administrative tasks. Continually identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost saving, and influencing operating costs within the team. Influencing a positive risk culture and risk governance framework (e.g., supporting the team to monitor compliance training completion). Procurement: Investigating suppliers within the preferred supplier list, raising requisitions for approval, engaging with the supplier, and managing payment in a timely manner. What you'll bring: Effective communication skills (written and oral). Ability to communicate complex issues in concise and simple terms to a large range of audiences, with confidence and in appropriate formats. Expert organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Display and work with a sense of urgency. Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Teamwork – ability to work effectively in team environments, encouraging others to participate. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
