Manager - Asset and Maintenance ServicesThe primary objective of this role is to oversee the management, servicing, and maintenance of all plant, equipment, and maintenance staff within Linen Services production facilities. You will ensure that all facilities meet task specifications and compliance standards by utilizing computerized maintenance management systems.Daily Responsibilities:Manage the daily operations of workforce and assets across production facilities that operate seven days a week throughout the year.Plan and supervise all asset repair and installation activities.Delegate tasks and oversee maintenance staff.Conduct comprehensive reviews of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within buildings to ensure optimal functionality.Provide expert technical advice and evaluations on asset procurement.Support and develop system applications (S4Hana) related to asset management and maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee financial management and reporting for all assets and maintenance activities, including managing contracts and service providers.Maintain and manage maintenance logs and daily activity reports.Design and implement asset maintenance procedures.Perform facility inspections to identify and address issues.Serve as Master Data Steward, ensuring the quality and relevance of the organization's data assets and metadata.Manage equipment inventory and propose improvements based on condition assessments, Asset Maintenance Management Plan (AMMP), and Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP).Ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements, as well as relevant international and Australian Standards in Asset Management.Essential Skills And Experience:Proven experience in managing assets within a production facility or similar environment.Demonstrated leadership and management experience with maintenance teams.Experience in financial management and reporting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge or willingness to learn about Statutory Acts, Regulations, and Australian Standards related to Building, Engineering, and Maintenance Services.Asset management, maintenance management, or facilities management qualifications are advantageous.Engineering or trade qualifications are preferred.This role is for an asset management & maintenance specialist!
