THE ROLEReporting to the Area Executive Director in the Outer Gippsland Area, this position plays a key leadership role. The role is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Agency Performance and System Support program. The role supports the department's strategic priorities of local solutions and place-based approaches for managing the performance of funded organisations against their funding and service agreements; it is responsible for relationship building and agency support at a local level. You will have responsibility for the team's monitoring and implementation of the Funded Organisations' Performance Monitoring Framework, including management of local service agreements and the collection and recording of performance data through data systems (SAMS2 Live Monitoring).ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDEOversee local delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary services that provide holistic client outcomes and ensure they meet statewide departmental and government objectives, budget considerations and community expectations.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of issues and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices to enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders and collaborate on the strategic design and development of departmental objectives that impact statewide or significant localised service delivery to ensure effective, efficient and coordinated services are provided for all clients.COVID-19 VACCINATIONThe department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice, given their individual circumstances.
