In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial health of the organisation, including responsibility for preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, as well as providing insightful analysis to guide strategic decision-making.Reporting to the Head of Finance, Australia, your key responsibilities will include:Preparation of the monthly management accounts (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statements) as per the month end timetable. Provide commentary on variances to budget and forecast.Variance analysis on actuals vs budgets and forecast for the revenue, cost of sales and operating expenses.Work closely with the sales department to ensure that sales orders are approved, fulfilled, and billed timeously.Work closely with licensing department to ensure correct accounting treatment of software sales (including services and training) and deferred revenue.Ensure the timeous collection of debtors receipts.Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items.Preparation of yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts.About YouYou will have a proven background in a Management / Operational Accountant.Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:Experienced in Accounting / Business Administration or related Management Accounting role.Excellent written and verbal English skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Proficiency in NetSuite software (or similar).Organised, efficient, and strong attention to detail.Next StepsIf you are looking to shape the future direction of technology in the industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
