This role is a direct report to our Financial Controller and finding the right person will be critical to us achieving our ambitious growth targets. The core mission of this role will be to own the financial reporting of the group, including corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, insurance, budget and cash flow preparation and the continued development of internal systems.Key Responsibilities:Month-end closing processes, profit & loss, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals for the GroupPreparation of monthly Consolidated Group Management ReportsPreparation of joint venture monthly accountsSupport the development and implementation of financial strategies and financial systems to support the company's growth objectivesSupport development of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectivesPreparation of YE statutory financial statements and support YE external audit processPreparation and meet deadlines for BAS returns, FBT returns, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation and other statutory obligationsProvide financial analysis and insights to support decision making by senior managementOther ad hoc items as instructed by Chief Financial OfficerSkills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldCA or CPA qualifiedStrong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial reportingSystems strength is essentialMinimum 5+ years experience in a similar rolePrevious experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC 365 is desirableUnrivalled attention to detail requiredExcellent organisational & communication skillsAbility to work autonomously as well as part of a teamIdeal Candidate:Strong Management Accountant with experience in similar role(s) in a growth business - joint venture experience is desirableSmart, self-learner, strategic thinkerMotivated, ambitious, driven, hard-working, over-achieverPractical, resourceful, problem-solver, shows initiativeRazor-sharp numbers person, organised, disciplined, gets things doneAuthentic, loyal, hands-on, tough but fairBuys into company vision, sees long-term future, natural cultural fitOur team are our most important asset and are the cornerstone to our success.
