This role is a direct report to our Financial Controller and finding the right person will be critical to achieving our ambitious growth targets. The core mission of this role will be to own the financial reporting of the group, including corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, insurance, budget and cash flow preparation, and the continued development of internal systems.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-end closing processes, profit & loss, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals for the Group.Preparation of monthly Consolidated Group Management Reports.Preparation of joint venture monthly accounts.Support the development and implementation of financial strategies and financial systems to support the company's growth objectives.Support the development of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.Preparation of YE statutory financial statements and support YE external audit process.Preparation and meet deadlines for BAS returns, FBT returns, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation and other statutory obligations.Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision making by senior management.Other ad hoc items as instructed by Chief Financial Officer.Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.CA or CPA qualified.Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial reporting.Systems strength is essential.Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role.Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC 365 is desirable.Unrivalled attention to detail required.Excellent organisational & communication skills.Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.Ideal CandidateStrong Management Accountant with experience in similar role(s) in a growth business - joint venture experience is desirable.Smart, self-learner, strategic thinker.Motivated, ambitious, driven, hard-working, over-achiever.Practical, resourceful, problem-solver, shows initiative.Razor-sharp numbers person, organised, disciplined, gets things done.Authentic, loyal, hands-on, tough but fair.Buys into company vision, sees long-term future, natural cultural fit.Our team are our most important asset and are the cornerstone to our success.
