Mamamia | Associate Product Manager

Details of the offer

Mamamia is on the lookout for an Associate Product Manager to join our best-in-class Product team.
But first, here's a bit about us.
Mamamia is Australia's largest women's media company.
Our core purpose is to make the world a better place for women and girls. That's what guides everything we do. Mamamia reaches seven million women each month across our written, video, audio, and social platforms and we have the largest women's podcast network in the world.
What we're looking for. We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to join Mamamia's Product Team. You'll help drive consumer revenue through subscriber growth and work alongside our content and growth teams to create engaging user experiences.
Working primarily with Mamamia's digital platforms, including our fitness app MOVE, you'll collaborate across teams to develop and enhance products that serve our community of women and girls. This role combines strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making to optimise our offerings and launch new features that impact millions of users.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us: Manage and prioritise product backlogs across media platforms and fitness app, aligning with company strategy. Create detailed user stories and product requirements for engineering teams. Collaborate with senior product managers to prioritise features based on user feedback and business metrics. Develop comprehensive product documentation to support engineering teams' understanding and implementation. Guide products through full lifecycle from discovery to optimisation, working closely with engineering teams. Foster strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with editorial, engineering, design, and QA teams. Now, a bit about you. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Communications, Project Management or a related field - or equivalent work experience. 0-2 years of experience in product management or a related role. Startup experience highly valued. A data-driven thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across diverse product lines. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams, from editorial to engineering. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes. Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles for both content-driven platforms and interactive apps. Experience using Figma. Passion for women's media, health, and fitness technology. Life at Mamamia. We're fast-paced, innovative, and deeply collaborative. Mamamia feels small enough that you can create real and tangible change, but has the structure to support your ideas with experienced and industry-leading teams, and deliver them to an audience of millions of women every month.
We have a startup spirit within a scaled-up business structure and we're incredibly proud of the culture and community we've created. Our team is inclusive, passionate, and fun; many lifelong friendships and connections have been forged in Mamamia HQ.
But enough about us, let's talk about how we can help you. At Mamamia, we want to support all of our staff in kicking as many career goals as possible so that's why we'll support you in getting involved in the things you're actually interested in. Think you might want to broaden your scope? Get exposure to another team in the business? Try something new and develop your skills? We'll help you make it happen and cheer you on the whole way.
On top of all that, Mamamia also offers:
Flexible working conditions (Hybrid working model). A day off to celebrate your birthday. Additional leave for years of service, plus annual rewards to celebrate your work anniversaries. Paid parental leave. Enjoy paid volunteer leave to support RizeUp, our charity partner. The opportunity to work for a purpose-driven company and help us make the world a better place for women and girls.
