About The Role:
This role plays a key role in delivering major projects with the Infrastructure and Operations capital works program. The role is pivotal to successful major project delivery and with minimal supervision delivers administration, planning, coordination, and control support to the Principal Major Projects and Project Team and ensures continued implementation of Council's project management framework and business processes through the life of the project.
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have:
Attained an AQF Level 4 (Certificate IV) or higher qualification in Project Management or related discipline.Demonstrated experience fulfilling the position's accountabilities in similar previous roles.Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of project management and how knowledge of those fundamentals supports the position's contribution and achieves the position's accountabilities.Demonstrated sound communication, organisation, prioritising, time management, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrable ability for self-learning and knowledge acquisition and ability to implement newly acquired knowledge and skills.Demonstrated skills in a range of computing software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and an understanding of enterprise document management systems and similar cloud-based applications such as Oracle Aconex.Current Queensland "C" Class Drivers Licence.
