We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Major Maintenance Project Specialist to join us in our Engineering and Planning team in Perth, WA or Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time Contract.
Reporting to the Maintenance Delivery Lead - West, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of maintenance projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and maintenance personnel to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project controls systems, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress tracking. Collaborate with project teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies. Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding project controls best practices. Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and cost estimates. Analyse and report project cost performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Your background Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related field (highly regarded) Proven experience as a project controls specialist in the maintenance field (highly regarded) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks efficiently. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
