The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Unplanned Maintenance Team Leader to join our Geelong Site.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing leadership and delivery of unplanned maintenance, whilst complying with company HSE policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
The successful candidate will also help with maintenance execution and plant shutdowns.
You will also be responsible for:
Commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance cultureAchievement of planned Plant Uptime targets as per annual Geelong StrategyLeading and managing workforce to achieve site Zero Harm, cost, and Uptime targetsEnsuring maintenance department execution consistent with global IPL standards for maintenance work managementManaging Contractor safety prequalification and verification process for site maintenance contractorsManaging unplanned work, purchasing of maintenance materials, equipment, and contractorsProviding an effective maintenance service by liaising with site management, operations, and contractor servicesCreating SAP notifications for any work identified as requiredWhat you'll bring We're looking for a Leader who can inspire and engage our team, who is trade qualified or higher and experienced with CMMS systems such as SAP or similar.
You'll also have:
Experience in heavy industryFamiliarity with systems and processes relating to asset capability and reliabilityExperience in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategiesExperience in project coordination on small projects and holding contractors accountable to high standards of workExperience coordinating small teamsIf you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
