About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food production company in Newcastle, Co. Down. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, who thrives in a fast-paced food production environment. As a key player in the maintenance team, you'll ensure that all machinery operates at optimum efficiency, support continuous production, and work proactively to prevent breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently to minimise production downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance to enhance system reliability and prevent breakdowns.
Ensure that all equipment operates within safety and compliance standards.
Collaborate with production teams to support consistent and continuous operations.
Keep maintenance records up to date and maintain an organised workflow.
Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally in a food production environment.
Experienced leading a team of maintenance engineers
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related technical field.
Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical repairs.
Knowledge of health & safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
