Maintenance Supervisor - Facilities Management

About the RoleAustcorp Executive Recruitment PTY Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the Facilities Management and Built Environment sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a mix of internal teams and contractors undertaking Electrical, Plumbing, Painting / Decorating, Glazier, Carpentry maintenance and minor works activities across multiple residential premises.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and manage a small team of direct staff and sub-contractors in the efficient and effective delivery of multiple day-to-day planned maintenance, minor works, or first fix / repairs across a large portfolio in accordance with the Building Code of Australia, Statutory Compliance, and Industry Best Practice.Provide key leadership and direction to direct trades and sub contractors.Manage and allocate maintenance and repair jobs, inspecting any repeat work and minor works, and arrange contractors where required.Liaise with Regional Manager level internally and provide clear and concise instructions, management and direction to direct trades and contractors.RequirementsOver 5 years industry experience, with at least 3 years Maintenance Supervisory experience within an organisation delivering Maintenance or Minor Works projects to a mix of multi-site premises.Excellent Maintenance Supervisory skills, with the ability to undertake site walk-rounds and reviewing maintenance work undertaken to ensure it meets client specifications.Strong IT skills (Word / Outlook) and using Excel spreadsheets to plan and monitor work.
