Participation in the Employee Share Plan Flexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policy ABOUT THE ROLE This role is a Permanent position that is DIDO daily, from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
Reporting to the Superintendent Electrical, the purpose of the Supervisor Electrical High Voltage role is to lead a team of fixed plant high voltage electricians to ensure the safe, cost effective and productive execution of maintenance and scheduled work activities to support the operations at Worsley Alumina Refinery.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Duties under your appointment as a Statutory appointed electrical supervisor Ensure electrical work is conducted safely by competent electrical personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures and relative legislative requirements. Delivery of safe outcomes through safety leadership, in-field coaching and application of procedures and policies Guide and coach HV technicians to execute inspection, testing and maintenance activities. Perform diagnostic testing of equipment failures, rectify problems and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability. ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Currently or can be appointed a statutory supervisor under Schedule 26 Deep knowledge of electrical maintenance activities for High Voltage apparatuses within an industrial asset Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and mentor employees resulting in improved engagement, performance and efficiency. Intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Qualifications for this position are:
Trade Certificate as Electrician and WA unrestricted electrical license Experience in HV electrical plant inspection, testing and maintenance.
