Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and minor works activities across our residential premises.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a small team of direct staff and sub-contractors to deliver planned maintenance, minor works, and repairs in accordance with our standards.Coordinate and supervise the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, and develop solutions to address these needs.Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Requirements: 5 years of experience in building maintenance and minor works supervisory roles, preferably in the housing, aged care, defence, or mine camps sectors.Qualifications in Carpentry or a related field, or equivalent experience.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.What We Offer: A competitive salary and benefits package.A $20,000 housing allowance for local applicants, or accommodation provided for FIFO applicants.The opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
