We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to plan, coordinate, perform, and document maintenance on our own fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is not a wholesale mechanic job in a production workshop; this is a role tailored to the care of our own fleet, including planning, condition monitoring, and scheduling of maintenance within our business.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a maintenance role with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of:
Toyota Landcruiser and Hilux light vehicles
Izuzu tray trucks and HR bogie drive tilt tray
Volvo and Mercedes Spoutvac and Kingvac Vacuum truck and Combo unit fleet
Caterpillar and Komatsu auxiliary equipment
Airman Air compressors (between 400cfm and 1,000cfm)
Extensive fleet of Ultra High-Pressure pump units ranging from 150hp to 1,000hp
Abrasive blast systems, and UHP accessories including dump guns, foot pedals, tank heads, and rotor jets
This role could be suitable for a floor mechanic/fitter looking to develop supervisory and management skills, taking ownership of the fleet, and having the authority and responsibility to design and implement maintenance systems with the support of a strong, long-term management team. The role will come with an assigned apprentice to assist with workload and enable correct and thorough documentation of maintenance tasks.
The successful candidate will be assigned the maintenance facility, critical spares, and service/rotables stock to organize and manage and will have complete domain over these resources in order to deliver high-quality maintenance support to our fleet.
This is the perfect role for someone with unidentified talent who wants more from their workday. This is an opportunity to get out from under the whip of a commercial workshop environment to take a practical leading role caring for a fleet of equipment that belongs to them.
