Maintenance Manager

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will have responsibility for the planning and execution of maintenance of fixed and mobile assets across Mugga & Hall. The role is responsible for optimising the performance of plant and equipment while ensuring compliance to safety standards and adherence to Boral's OH&S, Environmental and Quality Standards and in line with budget/cost expectations. Your day will involve: Plan and schedule maintenance Ensure the implementation of planned and preventative maintenance activities Conduct reviews of current practices and implement improvements Maximise equipment availability and utilisation and minimise production downtime Liaise with the Quarry Manager to ensure site activities comply with statutory standards, regulatory standards, and contractual arrangements Supervise a crew of maintenance staff across all shifts Ensure the use of work permits and the development of SWMS by operators and maintenance employees and contractors for non-routine tasks, across all shifts Document maintenance records, processes, and procedures for all plant and equipment Review the quality of work conducted by all site maintenance personnel What are we looking for? Experience in maintenance supervision/planning Relevant trade qualifications in an engineering or maintenance-related discipline (Highly desirable) Knowledge and understanding of maintenance equipment Strong people skills and communication skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines What's on offer?
