Maintenance Manager

About the role :


Join our team at Port Adelaide as the Maintenance Manager, where you will be responsible for overseeing both the day and afternoon shift teams that operate between 6am to 4pm and 5pm to 1am.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead by example and spearhead various processes and initiatives such as:
Ensuring safety leadership responsibilities Maintaining customer service responsibilities, which includes liaising with customers and key internal stakeholders, such as operations leaders Delivering the planned maintenance program and responding to emergency maintenance issues Handling costing and budgetary responsibilities Leading a team of both direct and indirect reports to ensure the delivery of the maintenance plan Driving manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement. Hours of the role :
Monday - Friday day shift role. Flexible start and finish times
About your experience :
In this role, we're seeking a dynamic leader with a knack for navigating tough conversations and inspiring teams. We need someone action-oriented, meticulous with record-keeping, and adept at aligning actions with goals. A structured approach and demonstrated experience are key.
While maintenance experience is preferred, we're also looking for:
Extensive experience in Maintenance, Production Manufacturing, or similar fields A proven track record in leadership Ability to hold yourself and others accountable Proficiency in project management Strong computer skills and familiar with SAP is a plus Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities About our team :
