The Rail Infrastructure Electrician plays a crucial role in maintaining, repairing and installing electrical systems within rail infrastructure, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of railway networks. You  will be undertaking variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. 
This position will be based at our Sydney Metro City Stations, NSW site. It will involve working on a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts, to provide continuous support to rail operations. Station locations are Chatswood through to Sydenham.
Your role as Electrician Interpret circuit drawings to identify requirements and complete electrical wiring and installations. Diagnose faults, identify defects, and complete repairs in a prompt and efficient manner in line with best practice.\ Maintain tunnel ventilation equipment such as, but not limited to, axial fans, damper controls, air compressors, vibration analysis equipment and associated system sensors Maintain tunnel drainage system equipment such as, but not limited to, pumps, level sensors and other associated system sensors Maintain lighting systems associated with stations, tunnels, and viaducts.
Maintain electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, switchboards, control panels, switchgear, fittings, cabling, earthing systems, and control systems. Your Experience & skills NSW Electrical license. Experience with Allen-Bradley RS Logix SCADA software - advantageous Experience installing and maintaining communication equipment Ability to develop wiring diagrams that are accurate and easy to read by others. Ability to read complex drawings and interpret requirements. Relevant Construction Card (e.g. White Card) Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card Driver's License Tickets and Licenses: EWP, First Aid Capable of obtaining qualifications to work at heights and in confined spaces.
