The Position: Due to the continued growth of the College, we are seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Coordinator to join our Christ-centred community who will work at our Melton Campus. The position will commence in early 2025.
The Person: The Maintenance Coordinator will assist in leading the operation of the campus and the maintenance team while abiding by the Occupational Health and Safety requirements of Heathdale Christian College. This position will require proven leadership knowledge and experience with a variety of tasks involving maintenance on buildings, grounds and infrastructure and the management of contractors and staff.
Education and Experience: Trade qualifications desirableEssential to have proven experience in managing staff and contractorsStrong understanding and experience in Grounds & MaintenanceDesirable to display similar experiences in a school settingIntermediate computer skills and knowledgeAbility to work and communicate effectively as part of a teamCurrent WWCC 'E' & Police CheckProfessional Attributes: Perform their responsibilities in a manner which reflects the College's mission, objectives and philosophy. In particular, staff are expected to role model an active Christian faith that will be demonstrated in part by an active involvement in the wider Christian Church.Be Christian role models and examples to all people associated with the College.Participate in leading College devotions that involve staff and students and attendance at the staff spiritual enrichment day.Support the College's guidelines and policies.Perform your responsibilities in a manner which reflects and responds to continuous improvement.Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of their teams in order to meet organisational objectives. This includes demonstrating appropriate and professional workplace behaviours, providing assistance to team members if required and undertaking other key responsibilities or activities as directed by one's supervisor.Perform your responsibilities in a manner which reflects the College's zero tolerance for child abuse and in accordance with the College's Child Safety policies.Familiarise themselves and comply with the relevant College policies including Occupational Health and Safety.Ability to work across both the Melton and Werribee campus if required.How to Apply: If you have the relevant skills, abilities, and qualifications, please click Apply and submit your application.
