We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our Wacol team at our brand-new site, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role will include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Some key responsibilities will include: Safe and efficient use of machinery (Off Coil, Shearline and Bending Machines).Maintain quality standards.Operate machinery as per the relevant Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) which are updated from time to time.Achieve consistent output from similar input on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.Operating cranes, machines and loading and unloading trucks.Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment.Set up machine and apply quality control inspections prior to and during machine operation using tools & equipment.Effectively monitor production and line performance and be involved in improvement activities.Maintain a safe and clean workspace.To Be Successful Experience operating cranes, machines and loading trucks.Experience preferred in Reinforcing Steel (desirable but not essential).Previous experience working within a manufacturing/production environment.Strong Work Ethic and Reliable.Safety Conscious.Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.Training will be provided for crane operations.If you are ready for a challenge and believe you have what it takes, do not wait, apply now!
