Food Assembly/Production Supervisor

The Food Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of the assigned sections including financial, operational and statutory accountability of the Make & Pack team.

Your focus areas:
Supervision of food preparation to ensure that culinary, operation (labour and materials) and internal service levels are maintained to agreed standard.
Supervision of all production activities to ensure delivery of products and services are according to customer specification and expectation.
Coordination of food production activities by liaising closely with the Executive Chef and Assembly Manager.
Ensure that the team meets quality KPI's and internal and external customer expectations.
Proactively manage your team's performance including training and coaching.
Maintains legal/compliance requirements across health and safety, food safety & security.
Leads/attends operational meetings and shift briefings.
Monthly/Weekly work allocation planning, staff roster and scheduling.
Creation of various reports.
We are interested in speaking with individuals who have:
Approximately 3 years' experience working within an Operations environment.
Experience working in a Food Hygiene/Health & Safety/High Security environment preferred.
Effective and proven team leading/supervisory experience within a fast-paced unionised environment.
Excellent time management skills required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities.
Experience with applying lean manufacturing techniques preferred.
Relevant tertiary qualifications would be highly desirable in a related discipline.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
