Our equipment range includes 1.7 to 36-ton excavators, 25 to 40-ton articulated dump trucks, graders, dozers, on-highway trucks, water carts, and loaders.
About the Role
We are seeking to expand our team with qualified diesel fitters of varying experience levels for an immediate start.
This role involves handling both routine services and urgent breakdowns.
It is ideal for someone who thrives in a diverse and engaging work environment and enjoys contributing to a passionate and hardworking team.
What You'll Be Doing
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components of heavy vehicles and equipment.
Performing routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of heavy machinery.
Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling components according to manufacturer specifications.
Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken.
Ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to all relevant safety policies and procedures.
Working in both field service and workshop roles.
What We're Looking For
A trade qualification and experience in mechanical or diesel fitting, or a similar field (Cert III in Engineering).
A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, ideally within the trades and services industry.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A current driver's license.
