From cardboard boxes, water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand's food and beverage packaging industry.Our busy plant based in Hemmant, has opportunities for Machine Operators to join our team on a permanent full time basis working either a fixed day or afternoon shift reporting to the Shift Manager.What you'll do: Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the teamOperating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packagingAssist with job changes and associated tasksPerform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customersHousekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team What You Will Bring: Be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.You will be fit and healthy.Have strong interpersonal skills (clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork and collaboration),The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
Most importantly is your attitude, you'll be performance driven, be adaptable to changes in the workplace and be keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.You'll ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and hands on experience operating machines.
