A unique opportunity to join a leading global business in this newly created M&A Lead role.Your new companyOur client is a leading global insurer that fosters a collaborative, fast-paced and high-performing culture. One of the largest players in their field, they are a household name serving customers for over 100 years.Your new roleThe M&A Finance Completion Lead will oversee the M&A completion close for finance and actuarial, offering technical accounting advice and commercial insights. This role includes coordinating input from other F&A teams and consultants, ensuring high-quality analysis, project planning, and direction. The focus will be on technical reporting, capital, and balance sheet impacts of the M&A completion.Review of PSA and development of operationalisation steps to completion for all financial accountabilities.Co-ordinate across the M&A teams to ensure artifacts for deal completion are delivered in a timely manner.Act as a point of contact for Finance and Actuarial Chapter Area's contributions to deal completion.Analyse technically complex issues of business acquisition and provide timely, accurate accounting advice.Deliver detailed action plans for F&A teams that focus on risk governance and clarity in accountability.What you'll need to succeedCA qualified.Extensive M&A, contract review, operationalisation, and completion accounts preparation.Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.Commercially astute.Financial Services background with exposure to life or general insurance business acquisitions.Proficient in technical IFRS accounting and USGAAP purchase accounting.Strong numerical skills with the ability to tailor communication to various audiences.Exceptional verbal and written influencing skills.Proven leadership and guidance for F&A team members.What you'll get in returnThis role offers a permanent full-time contract and embraces flexible working arrangements.
