Job description We are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil construction company known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and sub-division projects across Queensland and Australia.
Position Overview: This leading Civil company are seeking an experienced LV Mechanic to join the team in their yard in Rocklea.
As an LV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair and troubleshooting of issues on their fleet of predominately Ford Rangers and Toyota Hilux's.
This is a workshop based role but will require travelling to various project sites from time to time as breakdowns or issues arise.
WHAT'S ON OFFER: Work with a Civil company that's been successfully operating for nearly 50 years Have circa 260 subdivision and Infrastructure projects nation wide Operate in Qld, NSW, Vic and SA Have close to 2000 employees with a high retention rate Have a strong track record of up-skilling their workforce and promoting from within DUTIES + EXPERIENCE: Servicing and repair of their fleet of Rangers and Hilux's Troubleshooting and thinking 'outside the box' for some repairs Be able to preform simple tasks such as oil and filter changed through to engine rebuilds and swap overs Be able to consistently work 9-10 hours, Monday to Friday License - the role comes with a vehicle as you'd be required to travel to sites Minimum, Light Vehicle qualification White card  This is a permanent opportunity with a review at 6 months, increasing pay rates once set milestones are achieved.
