Great opportunity to gain Hospital Pharmacy Experience.Hospital Dispensary experience not necessary.No travel or Accommodation.Client Location and Information: Pharmacy located in Hospital in South Brisbane Hospital Brisbane Central.
Work Dates: Monday 4th November to Monday 23rd December 2024. (Ideally seeking one locum if possible, but must be able to work min 1 week to apply no odd dates). The shifts will be 7.5hrs each Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) with 1hr for lunch. Rosters will be based on the following rosters 8am - 4.30pm; 8.30am - 5pm; 9am - 5.30pm or 9.30am - 6pm and will be discussed with the successful locum.
Job Description: As the locum pharmacist you will be working in the inpatient dispensary as part of a team of pharmacists and technicians who manage the supply of medications to all clinical areas of Mater Hospitals at South Brisbane - Mater Mothers' Hospitals, Mater Public and Mater Private Hospital. Dispensary pharmacists provide the final check for assembled medications that have been dispensed by ward pharmacists and respond to requests from procedural areas, clinics and Hospital in the Home. You will be provided with training in the dispensing system (Merlin) and orientation to the various dispensary roles.
Skills Required: Bachelor of Pharmacy.Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential.Merlin dispense (preferred but not essential).Pay Details: $65-$70/hr + Super (negotiable on experience on locum). No travel or accommodation.
