Overview:We are seeking a skilled and organized Warehouse or Logistics Administrator to support an Iconic global company in the Logistics industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience in efficiently managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, handling dispatch operations, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Proficiency in receiving goods, preparing delivery paperwork, and utilizing SAP or similar systems is highly desired.Responsibilities:Receiving Goods:Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and invoices.Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies, documenting any issues as necessary.Organize received items in designated storage areas, ensuring proper inventory management.Preparation of Delivery Paperwork:Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outbound shipments.Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule deliveries and pickups.Ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork related to shipments.Dispatch Operations:Coordinate with drivers and couriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.Track shipment statuses and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.Address any issues or delays in the delivery process, finding solutions to minimize disruptions.Inventory Management:Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or similar inventory management software.Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent shortages.Compliance and Safety:Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and dispatch activities.Participate in training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols and best practices.Order processing - assist entering customer orders and freight movement requests into SAP.
Requirements:Previous experience in warehouse logistics, dispatch, or a related field.Familiarity with receiving goods, preparing delivery paperwork, and coordinating shipments.Proficiency in SAP or similar inventory management software highly preferred.Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers.Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and inventory management.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.The role is urgent start, hours are 2:30pm -10:00pm Mon-Fri, full time casual with view to permanent employment.If this role is for you or you are interested in a similar role - full time or business hours - please click "Apply".
