Primary Responsibilities: Establish performance metrics for supply chain tracking.Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety of delivery.Manage inventory supply and forecasting, driving towards best practice "inventory planning and management" principles to achieve cost objectives as well as excellence in service levels.Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements in collaboration with other departments.Build strong collaborative relationships with key functional areas of the business.Develop a good working culture that embraces standard operating procedure compliance, continuous improvement, idea generation, innovation, and collaboration.Establish relationships with global forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth product supply.Key Requirements: Hold a Degree in Business or Supply Chain or related discipline.Experience within the rail, defence, transportation or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.Experience in leading all areas of supply chain from planning through to delivery.Previous experience working with ERP (Maximo, SAP).An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
