With multiple brands across many markets including tiles and hard surfaces, distilling and cold storage, we are looking for a driven individual to start or progress a career in logistics within our Earp Bros tile and hard surfaces business.
The Position Our Logistics Administrator is responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered in full, on time. The role is based in our Carrington office and warehouse, and will expose you to the inner workings of an import and distribution business in a complex yet rewarding environment. You will be responsible for confirming delivery requirements with our customers, ensuring deliveries are booked appropriately and in a timely manner, logging all information to assist our national teams to track and trace, and touching base with our customers once the delivery has occurred to confirm and understand their experiences.
Responsibilities include: Customer communications pre and post delivery to ensure high levels of customer service and reliable information capture. Liaising with our sales team and customers to determine the most efficient and cost effective method for delivery, nation-wide. Provide internal support for other team members related to logistics and freight booking, scheduling, pricing and capabilities. Provide direct customer support for delivery updates and information. Liaise with our Procurement and Warehousing departments to conduct goods-inwards and goods-outwards processes. Line-Haul, Last Mile and Special Service Freight Bookings. About You You are highly organised with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills You are well mannered, independent and confident You have in depth knowledge & technical understanding of the logistics and freight industry You are professional, with a high level of business acumen At Earp Bros we offer job security, training and an excellent career path.
