Transport Allocator

About the role :


As the Transport Allocator at our Hexham branch, you will work closely with the branch manager, trading team, and operations department.
Your main focus will be maintaining smooth logistics operations, managing order coordination, and prioritising jobs.
Your key responsibilities will include: Coordinating daytoday logistics and distribution activities for deliveries and collections. Managing the collection from customers optimising efficiency in routes Provide prompt responses to inquiries and resolve issues. Ensuring compliance with vehicle load regulations and standards. Foster positive relationships with customers and drivers. Collaborate with operations to optimise collection logistics Hours:
Monday - Friday (6am - 3pm)
About your experience :
We're looking for someone who's great with people, pays close attention to detail, and takes initiative. The perfect fit would have experience in customer service, administration, or coordination, and be eager to develop in a collaborative setting.
While experience in logistics is beneficial, it's not mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proactive problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and dynamic environments.
