Locum Radiologist

ABOUT US Hunter Imaging is a large diversified imaging group with sites throughout the Newcastle, Central Coast, Hunter Valley and New England regions. A wholly owned subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare, an internationally renowned healthcare provider with specialist operations in radiology, pathology and general practice, our facilities are modern and comprehensive with state-of-the-art equipment and services, including MRI, PET, Ultrasound, CT, General X-ray, EOS, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Radiologists interested in locum opportunities including fly in fly out (FIFO) across our network of branches, specifically including Tamworth, Williamtown and Newcastle. The role will have the support of Hunter Imaging's team of 19 Radiologists. Forming part of the 20-strong network of clinical practices, all sites are connected by a wide-area integrated PACS-RIS system.
You will have access to state of the art medical imaging equipment and be supported by a large team of technical and support staff.
Interested candidates should possess experience and expertise at a minimum in CT, Ultrasound, Interventional procedures and General Radiography. MRI, MSK imaging and Mammography sub-specialty skills would be highly regarded.
We have full week opportunities available from April 2022 onwards.
INTERESTED CANDIDATES SHOULD HOLD THE FOLLOWING REGISTRATIONS:

Registered medical practitioner for the purposes of the Medical Practice Act 1992 (NSW);
Remain a fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists;
Meet the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA), and Medicare Australia Provider status;
Current medical indemnity insurance.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER:

Daily rate of $3000 - $3500 per day (negotiable);
Travel & accommodation, including car hire if required;
No after-hours/on-call reporting.
