Your work with us is about every light turned on, every community connected, and every future made possible.We believe every employee deserves the opportunity to enjoy a work-life balance that enhances their overall wellbeing and performance through inclusive and supportive benefits.Competitive salary starting from $185,735 + 14.75% super (10-day fortnight)Additional leave purchasing14 weeks paid parental leave - at full or half payHybrid, family-friendly flexible working arrangements including substitution of public holidays.Health & wellbeing benefits, including corporate health plan with employee discounts, annual flu vaccinations.The opportunity:Coordinate the execution of targets, plans and deliverables as set out in the CopperString 2032 Local Economic Participation Plan (LEPP) to stated requirements and standards, working with internal and external stakeholders as required to enhance local skills, create employment opportunities and contribute to local economies.Identify opportunities and partnerships with local suppliers and businesses to support regional economic well-being.Integrate local participation into project planning and communicate the project's positive contributions to the region.Work closely with the communications team to highlight organisational contributions and share success stories.Ensure alignment with regional development goals and incorporate regional considerations into project design.Maintain accurate records of regional engagement activities and prepare reports for stakeholders.Supervise contractors in delivering LEPP initiatives.Your expertiseBachelor's degree in Procurement, Community Development, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field; or a lesser qualification coupled with significant experience.Experience in a role with considerable stakeholder engagement requirements, preferably within the energy, infrastructure or related sectors, or strong familiarity of the stakeholders operating in this industry.Ability to navigate government compliance, policies, and regulatory environments.Analytical skills to assess regional needs and identify opportunities for collaboration.Understanding of sustainable development principles and their application to project planning.Familiarity with regional areas, including challenges faced in regional areas of Australia.Be the start of every possibilityTo kick start your career at Powerlink, apply by clicking the button above, attaching your resume and cover letter on our careers page before midnight on Wednesday 6th November 2024.
