About the Role:
Thomas Foods International is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Livestock Administration professional to join our team at our Stawell plant. The successful candidate will oversee the receiving and accurate documentation of sheep, lamb, and goats within our livestock complex, ensuring that all quality, welfare, and regulatory standards are met.
Key Responsibilities: Documentation & Compliance: Verify and process National Vendor Declarations (NVD), ensure Post Sale Summaries align with purchase data, and maintain accurate records in MeatPro and Daisy systems. Quality Assurance: Support compliance with DAWR and TFI Quality Management Systems, including QA processes, animal welfare, and safety standards. Operational Support: Assist in updating livestock records, validating data, and ensuring all animals meet the standards for slaughter. Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with various departments, including QA, Head Office, and veterinary staff, to ensure accurate reporting and stock management. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably within livestock or production environments. Strong organisational skills, high computer literacy, and practical problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of stockyard administrative processes is preferred.
