IT Level 1.5 Service Desk Engineer job available | Permanent | Melbourne North-West | ASAP Your new companyA growing Managed Service Provider in Melbourne's North-West requires a Level 1.5 Service Desk Engineer for a permanent opportunity commencing immediately. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering exposure to leading technologies and a fortnightly RDO.Your new roleIn this exciting new role, you will be: Providing 1st & 2nd level remote IT support for a broad client base. Administering and maintaining a range of systems and networks across a large client portfolio. Performing technical support of servers, network and hardware. Assisting with the onboarding of new clients and adoption of new technologies. Delivering a high level of customer service and communication. Answering calls and driving first time resolution on the Service Desk whilst contributing to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in your application, you will need: Demonstrated experience of providing Level 1 IT support within a Service Desk environment. Sound knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, VoIP and Network troubleshooting. Experience with Halo PSA and N-central RMM is desirable. Excellent customer service & communication skills, both verbal and written. A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Azure, Microsoft, Sophos and ITIL certifications are beneficial. Prior experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy organisation is highly advantageous. Current driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.
